Walking Gallery
A lot of themes i saw today had to do with sports mainly football, i also saw music artists cars, and movies. I think my favorite edit was the remove a face edit, everybody seemed to have fun with it and i saw alot of funny funny pictures. I liked the 80s' movie montage themes, basically the background was music from all these different 80s' movies that the person used in there slideshow. There are alot of things i learned from these past 2 units, mainly how to edit pictures and use various effects to do so but also how to edit, record, and add effects to my voice or music using garage band or audacity. I know have the skills to edit music and pictures for good lol

News podcast
The process of creating a news podcast was very simple. I actually created a sports podcast about David Bolland returning from his injury a couple weeks earlier. I recorded in Audacity and edited it in GarageBand because that seemed to be the easiest thing to do. I then made it into a podcast, by coordinating pictures with my voice recording about what i was talking about. I added some sound effects in the beginning during my "intro" which was ESPN's Sports center theme, i had the sound effect of Patrick Kane scoring on a break away. Then when i mentioned Bolland, i had a sound clip of him scoring too playing in the background. It was all very simple and I didnt sweat it that much considering it was about my sport of hockey. I think it meets the criteria of the assignment the recording of it was pretty professional but had some parts were people were talking, I liked doing this alot and i think i could do it in the future

sound post
Sound travels in waves, there are 2 different types of waves direction and indirection, reflection, absorption. You measure the pitch and speed in frequency. low pitches are far apart. High pitches are really close together. Amplitude measure the volume also in decibels.
I knew about like frequencies, but i didn't know that the closer the waves are together the higher the pitch, and the farther apart they are the lower the pitch. I also didn't know that with camera crews they count in the person they are filming because they use the sound bit before they started rolling to edit the sound if they need a pause or something.
Younger americans are losing there hearing at younger ages, over half of hearing lose is is people under the age of 25. Talks about how younger people dont wanna wear hearing aids. There is no cure for hearing loss. Jim from the video says to get your ears checked and dont take any chances.
This really made me think about my decibel exposure, or how loud i listen to my music in my car and my headphones, i will defiantly turn my music down now lol

The two tools i learned how to use in photoshop were the Clone stamp, how to erase a face and relpace it with a different one using layers.
This is is the original version of the great balloon race picture I used the clone stamp on. Using the clone stamp is very simple, unless you are using it when the background has two different textures. The clone stamp copies part of a picture and replaces in over another part to give the effect you "removed it" from the photo. Thats why when using the clone stamp if the background has two different textures it can make the edit look cheesy
This is the edited version of the Great balloon race, as you can see all the balloons are gone, but we used the clone stamp to cover them. The clone stamp is very helpful if you want to remove something from a picture and make it look like it was never there
This is the original picture of the hippie i used to remove a face. I opened this in photoshop then i opened a picture of me in photoshop and copied my face and inserted it as a layer over the hippie, I then lined up my face with his by turning the opacity down on my picture so i could see through it a little bit and lined the faces up. I then put the background layer over my face layer and began to erase the hippies face. Mine started to come out because it was a different layer behind the first one. I cleaned it up blurred the edges and it was done
This is the edited version version of the hippie with my face replace it.
